I ordered these clamps for my Krazy Beaver shovel , and they do hold it snugly . I do reccomend people to get the combo with the steel brackets if using for something that is offset like a shovel if mounting on a flat surface like a molle panel . For things like an axe with a straight shaft , the clamps will be fine by themselves.
Mounted to my Molle panel they hold my Cold Steel shovel well.
I received them but they have not been installed yet, even so, they look very good quality and I do not think I will have any problems in the future.
