Fits perfect but premium doesn't come with facia piece so you have to have a large hole in you bumper and no way to cover it up. There is interference with a ac line that has to be bent out of the way. But all in all its seems like a good product all the holes lined up perfect.
First of all, the design and quality of the materials used and welds are 100%. The only problem I encountered was that this hidden winch mount does not fit the 4Runner Limited, and the description doesn’t specify that fitment is for all 4Runner models besides the Limited model. I think that detail would be important to notify prospective buyers. The mount needed substantial modification to fit the 4Runner Limited, but it turned really good. At this time I am not aware of any commercially available Limited hidden winch mounts so I’m really happy with how it turned out.
This product is solid. Followed the video and had no issues installing the hidden winch mount. Product was a perfect fit. Toughest part was trimming the fascia, but took my time to make it look sweet. Fits behind my plate. Put a flip plate bracket. I used a lift to ease the installation process, but could easily be done outside with some patience! Thanks for the cool product. Note; I am a owner of an automotive shop this pretty in tune with vehicles however have no history of modifications, off roading ect
Since this 4Runner is my wife's daily driver, I wanted the winch to be hidden to maintain a relatively tame look for the street and still be moderate trail capable. I followed the steps in Mario's awesome install video and completed installation by myself in about 2.5 hrs. The winch plate is well engineered and fits perfectly! As Rago suggested, I used a Factor 55 fairlead, but used the 1" thick version vs the 1.5" to keep the profile a little slimmer. Bolted on a WARN VR EVO 10s and I'm very pleased with the whole set up. For a finising touch, I fabricated an aluminum fairlead cover with a hook on the backside that is held in place by the tensioned winch rope.
