Really outstanding design and secure plate mounting to dash. It is a shame that some of the prime center plate mounting locations are lost by the logo cutout, only real criticism of design. It would be great to source a USB plug that has USB-C, and maybe with three outlets instead of the two dated USB-A ports.

QC issues: The threads really need to be chased with a tap before shipping, or advise customers they need to. I had one bolt almost start galling and then realized there was a lot of bits of welding debris and power coat overspray in the threads. About 1/3 of the welded thread nuts had quite a bit of debris that needed to be chased with a tap. This added quite a bit of time to what otherwise is a pretty simple and quick install.

Instruction manual feedback - the video is dated and doesn’t show current hardware design. It’s worth mentioning that pushing the baseplate all the way back into the dash grooves before marking drill locations will give best fit. Also, if your Tundra has a center speaker you do NOT need to drill another hole to run wiring - pop up the speaker grille and you can route wiring through the hole around the speaker, there is plenty of space. Use a piece of weed whacker line to find a gap to run wiring on the backside of the dash to wherever your intend to tap power, it’s a Toyota so it’s very tight!

This mount is a great fit, and a solid base for mounting phones and other devices. Installation was easy, following the step by step video. Highly recommended!

1. This mount lined up perfectly. Drilling and screwing was pretty erotic!
2. Plenty of holes needing mounting!

OK, so for real, this thing makes the dashboard look amazing. Its fitment is perfect. Yes, there are some areas I think could use a little more refinement, but what you get for what you pay, you can’t beat it with a stick! Other mounts just look like garbage and really look like an afterthought. Not this mount! Looks great. Installation was easy. Just be careful and use plastic tools to get plastic pieces off. These trucks are starting to get a little bit older and require a little bit more patience.

There is one thing I didn’t like. Having to sign up for 10% off. Yes, it is worth every penny, but a penny saved as a penny earned. I signed up, got the code and went to check out. I then went to your Amazon store. Turns out, I saved even more with Prime!
