The Rago Fabrication Toyota Tundra Bed Channel Stiffeners solve a known problem that Tundra's acquire over time. If you have a camper shell, bed rack, or use your Tundra to off-road frequently, the rear sheet metal channels are known to crack overtime because of added stress and weight to the vehicle.

Rago Fabrication designed Bed Channel Stiffeners out 3/16" Steel for extreme strength and durability. Our brackets mount on the bottom existing bolt holes and to the side of the bed with 3 - 1/2" bolts which requires drilling. The brackets will come powder coated black for durability. The installation is easily completed within a half an hour.

Drilling holes in sheet metal is never very much fun, and the install is a bit tricky in places, but anyone can do it with the right tools. Just make sure you use a step drill bit holes. This sucker is solidly built!

Great product

Great product. I’m having issues with my tailgate closing, and I definitely had to cut the plastic away a bit with a multi-tool. (Easy) however my tailgate still isn’t closing fully. I watched the install video several times, but here is the issue: even after you put the bed bolt (t55) and drill and install the top bolt, the bracket still has a lot of play. So- basically- loosely have the bed bolt and loosely have the top bolt in- but make sure you press the corner into the bed. Meaning towards the front of the car. You will ensure clearance issues and not have to deal with your tailgate not closing properly. I guess I’ll have to drill the holes a hair larger so they have a little wiggle room to move back. BUT all in all it’s a great product- just install it right the first time.
