The Rago Fabrication Shock Guards were designed to keep your shocks safe and free of damage. The rugged angular design creates a guard that can withstand the most demanding trails. In addition to protecting the most exposed part of the shock, the guard also extends to protect the shock shaft from pits and abuse, extending shock life from leaks and tears of the shock shaft seal. Our design also includes a drain hole placed at the lowest point of the guard to prevent lingering of water during water crossings.

Moab Follow Up

Thanks Rago, your shock guards made these pics possible and were key for an awesome adventure at Cruise Moab '22. This is Porcupine Rim and Top of the World (TOW). Superb quality and protection that is well worth the investment.

2017 Tacoma TRD OR

The @ragofabrication guards are beefy. They come with 2 massive bolts for each side. They have a slot in the bottom so that you can wedge a screwdriver under the shock and leverage it to get the bolt through. Wish I had known that earlier. The YouTube video doesn't show that slot (it only mentions the bolt hole on the other side). Will be testing it in Moab this weekend.

Shock mount protection

First off, easy install and the quality of the guards is apparent. Do I need this kind of protection on my 3rd gen TRD Off-road Tacoma? Probably not, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Good product for the money.
