Installed today, lessons

I really like the rack rails, but just FYI:
1. the nut plates "D", nice that they are painted, but paint got in the threads. Had to clean out the threads with a 3/8-16 tap.
2. The guide says easy, about an hour. I agree with easy with the right tools, which I had. but it was closer to about 4 hours starting from no experience doing this and taking my time to do it right. Plan as an afternoon project.
3. I would add a tool list another plastic pry tool for the factory rail end caps (two really made it easier), and a tap and die set for cleanup of threads on nuts and bolts. Also a small cordless drill is really handy for all the bolts.

End result was very nice and I am very happy.

Awesome Racks

Honestly very surprised with how simple to whole install was. The build quality of the product itself as well as the fact that there is 0 wind noise added with these which was honestly a huge fear of mine. I can’t wait to put these to use soon at the beaches out here in Hawaii.

Great Heavy duty roof rack

I am pleased with the final product after installation. It is exactly what I was hoping for… It gives me the versatility I was looking for to utilize it for work and play…
I am interested in purchasing the exterior molle panels for my 6 GEN 4 Runner , only needing some information on what the time delay might be with delivery, along with “House” specifically the bracket would mount to the existing roof rails…
I am very pleased with the durability of the roof rack and I’m looking forward to the molle panels to have the same high quality as my roof rack.
